Welcome to my new series I will be doing through the month of April. Let me tell you a little bit about this series:
I was going through my closet a few weeks ago and realized that I hadn’t been giving my more expensive, or favorite pieces as much love. I’ve been blogging for 3 years and I have accumulated some amazing pieces, but sometimes they get lost. Or, I wear it once for a look and forget about it. So, I wanted to re-vamp these classic pieces in my closet and make them coherent with my current style. I also have been wanting to cut back on spending this month, just to see if I could, and I thought by giving my older pieces new life, and discover new ways to wear them, I won’t feel the need to buy (as many) new clothes.
I’m so excited for this series and hope you are too!

The first look is styled with one of my favorite tops from Elizabeth & James that I had bought from Thred Up. This top always makes me feel way cooler than I am and the shape is so flattering. I’ve worn this top with trousers to kind of dress this edgy piece up and also with a pencil skirt to make it classic. I love how the top is masculine and edgy but is subtly a sexy piece.
The gold detailing on the top matches perfectly with my gold watch, choker, and detailing on my bag. It mixes the dark look up a little adds such a chic element to the look.
