Those summer tops that you don’t want to put away just yet? Make them into a layering piece!

I love the look and effortlessness of an off the shoulder top, but I’m more comfortable when I’m covered up. I love the casualness the plain white tee adds underneath the flouncy top.

I made it more edgy with my leather skirt and boots. Love this layering tip for the awkward transitional weather! When it gets colder I love doing this trick with turtlenecks as well.

Shoulder Show

To be honest, I usually don’t gravitate towards pieces that show off my shoulders a lot. I feel like I’m basically naked. But there’s something sexy but also dainty about showing off a strong shoulder. This top is super flattering and chic with it’s waist and wrist ties and of course the angled neckline makes a subtle statement.

I decided to do a bun in my hair (which I never do) with this look because 1) it opens up the neckline and makes for a sleek look, and it shows off the large and in charge earrings and 2) because my hair is finally long enough to be put into a bun, granted it took 3 hair ties to get it this way.

I added my white floral bag with these mules I scored for $13 at Forever 21 with the look to mix together a more summer-y piece with the mahogany colored shoe for the perfect transitional look.

Shein decided to collab with me and I could pick any piece I wanted. I’ve seen them on Instagram so many times, but never took the plunge to try their clothing. I’ll tell you that I was very satisfied with this top and the other selections they have. This top feels very well made and the sizing was true-to-size, which is hard to get and can be tricky when ordering online. I can’t wait to search their site again and grab some cool fall pieces!

Spring is almost here, and I cannot wait. I love dresses for that transitioning period, because you can show off some legs but, if needed, you can cover up with a sweater or light jacket.

I absolutely love jumpsuits. They are so effortless and easy, but instantly makes a chic outfit. Jumpsuits are also great for that awkward “it’s not really summer anymore but it’s not quite fall yet” season.

Costa Blanca

Can it be fall yet?? I absolutely can not wait for fall to arrive! But unfortunately we’re currently (or at least I am) stuck in that awkward period between summer and fall where you want to wear the darkest colors and sweaters but the heat does not permit that. Soooo today’s look I took what I would consider a “transitional” look. I plan on wearing this maxi with closed-toe booties and an oversized sweater come fall and winter, but for now I’m dressing it up with a light, and fun colored blazer and gladiator sandal/booties!
