I love putting a little extra something into my date night outfits, while still being comfortable. The faux-leather shorts have been a staple in my closet for years-I love them dressed up, casual, anyway you can think of. I love the juxtaposition of the slouchy and soft blouse with the edgy leather of the shorts, and boots.

I blogged this exact dress, in black, a couple of months ago, and when I found the grey one I had to have it. A classic, and comfy neutral swing dress is always a perfect, easy, go-to dress.

Flares are always a favorite. These flare pants are a stretchy material, so they’re basically like wearing flare pajama pants, which I’m totally down for.
I was in New Orleans this past Sunday for a fun shoot with Marie Claire, and we walked around the French Quarter after. So this outfit was perfectly fun for NOLA, but also super comfortable.
This top is kind of different for me, and is me “branching out”. The lace up detail is a little sexy, but I like how the overall top is flowy so it’s not too much.

I’ve been waiting forever to pull this little dress out. I love the feminine shape and how delicate and dainty it is.
I kept the look easy with some “boho” extras, which my style this summer has been more geared towards.
