Not only has this coat and these heels been a staple in my closet since last year, but all of these pieces have been closet favorites. A classic winter look, is one of my favorite looks to wear. I love how I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit next year, because I feel every piece is timeless but still modern.

Today being Christmas, it really makes me realize how incredible this year has been thanks to all of my amazing readers, and the amazing friends & loved ones in my life! I couldn’t do it without you guys.

I hope you all have had a great Christmas and a happy holidays!

Black & Blush

I’m totally in love with the edginess and femininity of this faux-fur coat.

With the mix of the chain detail of the heels and the fringe of the skirt, it’s kind of a modern, old school classic look. _MG_5927_MG_5933_MG_5937_MG_5944_MG_5950_MG_5930_MG_5946_MG_5948_MG_5976_MG_5967_MG_5962_MG_5979

Blush is the new neutral for winter, and I’m all for it. Don’t get me wrong, I love my all black looks, and whites, but I think the blush color is a great way to add a little color into my wardrobe without it being over the top.

I love the blush trend for bags, shoes, and coats because it’s different than the normal neutrals but still a classic color.

Flares are always a favorite. These flare pants are a stretchy material, so they’re basically like wearing flare pajama pants, which I’m totally down for.

I was in New Orleans this past Sunday for a fun shoot with Marie Claire, and we walked around the French Quarter after. So this outfit was perfectly fun for NOLA, but also super comfortable.

This top is kind of different for me, and is me “branching out”. The lace up detail is a little sexy, but I like how the overall top is flowy so it’s not too much.

My beloved faux-fur coat is back out. If you followed me last winter, you definitely know this coat.

But to the main focus of this outfit, the dress. The lace detailing is so beautiful and elegant, but the fit of the dress is more flirty and girly. I love adding the faux-fur coat with a dress because it adds just enough edge to the look.

I can tell I’m getting into the winter mood when I pull out my chunky knits and a trouser pant.

Last year I opted for more of a tailored trouser, but this year with the rise of the culotte, I’m opting for a more fun & unexpected, cropped style trouser. And of course, my love for a good knit, turtleneck hasn’t gone anywhere.
