I love when a dress has a personality. While shooting this dress, it kind of had a mind of its own, and I just went with it.
I love the super flowiness of the dress and the double slit action! I also love the robe feel of the dress. Getting dressed is fun and easy when you feel like you’re wearing your pajamas, am I right?

I used to be all about the tailored pant suit. Don’t get me wrong, I still love a good pant suit, but as of late I’ve been keeping my look more carefree and casual.
This denim jumpsuit is the only kind of suit I want to be in right now. It’s probably because it’s been 80 degrees the past couple of days in Louisiana, and I can’t even think about being layered up and clothes clinging to my body.

I’ve been obsessed with my new denim bomber jacket! I used to be on the fence about bomber jackets- you know the satin kind. I never felt like they had a good fit, and I’d always end up looking like I borrowed my dad’s jacket that was way too big for me. I love that this denim one is more fitted and structured. It gives the perfect 90s vibe, but it’s still modern.
I wanted to balance out the structured jacket and skinnies with a super flowy top, just so everything wasn’t one dimensional.

Happy Friday! Usually on Friday’s I’m ready for the weekend and I keep it pretty casual. But I just bought this new suede, snake print skirt and had to take it out for a spin. I wanted to do a dressy look with this skirt, but I also want to try a casual look with it including a graphic tee, leather jacket, and my slip-on vans.

I’m kind of just over winter at this point, as most of us are. In louisiana the past 2 weeks it’s been a cool (sarcasm) 80 degrees..so it’s already feeling like spring.
