My first pair of mom jeans..with a fun twist. I’ve always been interested in “mom jeans” but didn’t want them to end up looking to0 90s mom-ish. When I found this pair with the flare ankle, I was sold. I wanted the volume and focus of the look to be on the flare of the jeans, so I kept the top half more fitted, and simple.

Have a good weekend!

Jeans, silk button up, and slingbacks. Classic.

This look is showcasing my most recent favorite piece! I recently picked up this silk pajama-inspired button up blouse from Equipment via TheRealReal. I actually love the pajama trend, but I’m not quite up to wearing head-to-toe pj’s…yet, so I just stuck with the PJ-inspired top. I love the trend because it’s technically a very put together outfit formula (think about it, a nice trouser and a button-up, or silky top), but super relaxed and effortless.

I decided to keep the look more structured with my jeans, to balance out the super flowy top.

With every new season, I love updating my overall collection. Whether it be pants overalls, or a dungaree dress. I like to have the best of both worlds with my overalls. Pants for my edgier, more tomboy outfits, and dresses for the girly alternative.

This outfit is still essentially just a “t-shirt & jeans” look. It’s simple and laid back, but the dress is just a little more polished & smart than pant dungarees.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!

Quick Look: Picnic Date

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

This past weekend, my boyfriend Mason and I went on a little picnic. I think picnics are one of my favorite dates to go on! It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, we just love going to the local park, playing music, talking, and eating.

I though I’d show you my casual date outfit for the day! It was surprisingly chilly this day even though it was 75 degrees outside. I balanced the outfit with my new skinnies I got on sale for $9 at Old Navy (score!) with a light sweater-like, mock-neck tank, and my favorite espadrille flats!

Hope you guys enjoyed this quick look!

As soon as I saw this top, I knew I wanted to pair it with a white, pleated midi skirt. The top & skirt combo gives a very 50s housewife vibe. I thought about pairing the look with a pointed toe pump, but I wanted to keep the look modern and street style approved so I added my classic white sneakers instead.

Thanks for reading & have a good weekend!

Feeling totally Parisian in this look. The perfect outfit formula is a great fitting pair of jeans, graphic tee, leather moto jacket, and heels. Also, my new haircut is fitting for the effortless look.
