You guys know I’m a sucker for an over-sized sleeve! I’m also loving how flattering the cinching of the waist is. It helps balance out the flowy culottes and flare of the top.

The tee under a slip dress is nothing new. The classic white tee under a slinky slip dress is becoming the new summer uniform in the fashion world. I love the combo together, because it takes a dress that is otherwise feminine and sexy, and makes it a little more tomboy-ish and playful. I opted for this striped number with a little flare at the bottom, which helps the outfit stay a little feminized.

I love putting a little extra something into my date night outfits, while still being comfortable. The faux-leather shorts have been a staple in my closet for years-I love them dressed up, casual, anyway you can think of. I love the juxtaposition of the slouchy and soft blouse with the edgy leather of the shorts, and boots.

I don’t what it is, but I’ve been so drawn to feminine silhouettes lately. I love even though this is a super girly, floral dress, it’s not in your face. I knew I wanted to stray away from making the overall look girly, so I added my worn-in sneakers. For a pop of color, and to break up the all-white look, I added a fun vintage scarf.

Can someone ever have too many stripes? In my opinion, of course not! No matter what season, stripes are always in and always classic. I love that a simple striped top can take a pair of edgier, distressed jeans and make it polished.
When I think of stripes, I automatically think of summer, so I had to pair this top with laid-back extras. I added a white pair of jeans, just to have the look a little less harsh and edgy, and more spring/summer appropriate.

A white blouse and denim jeans is a go-to outfit formula for many. Again, I wanted an updated, warm-weather approved version of that formula so opted for this fringe denim mini. The more fringe, the merrier!
