Flares are always a favorite. These flare pants are a stretchy material, so they’re basically like wearing flare pajama pants, which I’m totally down for. 

I was in New Orleans this past Sunday for a fun shoot with Marie Claire, and we walked around the French Quarter after. So this outfit was perfectly fun for NOLA, but also super comfortable.

This top is kind of different for me, and is me “branching out”. The lace up detail is a little sexy, but I like how the overall top is flowy so it’s not too much.

A little recap post from the in-store NOLA Madewell event this past Monday! It was such a fun time getting to meet people, pick out/put together outfits (a blog post of the outfits will be up in a few days!), and get to hang out in New Orleans. I want to thank the Lakeside Madewell for such a great opportunity!

I kind of fell in love with the simplicity and comfort of Madewell while I was there. I loved how no matter what item I picked up, there was something I could put with it effortlessly and not even have to think about it. Madewell is the perfect store for the everyday woman. And their knits they have right now are so on point.

Madewell x SOU NOLA In-Store Event

I’m so excited to finally announce this event that Madewell Lakeside and I have been putting together!

Yesterday I was in New Orleans for the opening of the Warby Parker Frame Studio (which is amazing), and I wanted to look put together, fun, and I wanted to be comfortable all in one outfit. I love how this romper can be casual, like I wore it yesterday, or  I can add some awesome heels, and it’s totally glamorous and chic.
