The temperature is starting to drop here in Louisiana, and that means to start light layering. I love this zippered dress alone, but I think by adding a long-sleeve turtleneck and over-the-knee boots, it makes the whole look sleek and edgy (total spy vibes too).

Sorry for the unannounced absence last week! There was some personal things going on. But I’m back home and so ready for fall weather to come to Louisiana. I always buy a new cowl neck, sweater dress, for the fall/winter because they’re such a staple and plus they’re super comfy!

Pretty much every favorite blue piece from my closet in one outfit. I love light and navy shades of blue so much because it’s still a color, but I don’t think it’s ever really overpowering. I added the long, white, sleeveless blazer to break the blues up just a little, bring out the white in the striped button down, and just add a light and fresh element.

Military inspired is trending this spring, but the trend isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I’m not a huge green or khaki fan, so I went the more “street style” route with the trousers and heels and the gray/black color scheme.

Business meets comfort. This jersey dress feels like I’m wearing nothing at all and the lace bra poking out gives it an even more laid-back feel. For me, I feel like no outfit is complete without my trusty blazer and a great pair of heels. I also recently picked up this crisp white bag that stands out against every outfit and it’s perfect for the spring time!
