Long time no blog…hopefully if you follow me on Instagram you’ll see why I was absent! But hey, I’m back and I’m wearing this fun skirt for you all today!

Most of the time, wind can be the worst thing while trying to take pictures, but in this case, it actually worked in my favor! I love how the wind picked up the skirt and was able to show of the flow-ability of it (yes, I’m talking highly of the wind and making up words).

I kept the rest of the look very classic, but the skirt and the clutch kind of add a modern twist on the look!

Wild

When I first saw this Faux-Fur jacket, I felt the same feeling as to when you see your food coming to your table in a restaurant. Pure joy. Although I’ve gotten the “is that gorilla fur?” comment one too many times,  I absolutely love this jacket. Faux-fur’s can be super classic and elegant, but I think it’s great to have those edgier faux-furs, like this one! I made this outfit even cooler by adding this tea-length (on me) knit maxi dress, for an extra glam effect!

Vintage

My mothers closet isn’t usually my fashion go-to place. Since finding this awesome, vintage, menswear (shoulder pads included) blazer, I might visit her closet more often!  I’ve never even stepped foot into my moms closet because 1. she’s about 5 inches shorter than me, and 2. our style are on complete different spectrums. I especially love this blazer because I got for free, when I’ve recently seen blazers very similar to this for a much larger price tag.

To keep this look from being out-dated, I added newer, and trendier pieces, like the metallic boots and faux-leather shorts!

I love pieces that can transition into any season, like this sheer and flawy dress. I wore it the summer as just a simple dress (click here to see that outfit), but for the fall I used it as a light layering piece.

Floral

It’s officially fall (insert happy clapping)! If you follow my blog, then you would know I mainly wear black and white, but seeing  all the color trends/patterns for fall/winter, I kind of want to branch out and explore different colors and patterns. I wouldn’t really consider this dress “my style” but I was so drawn to it! I like how the shape is super girly and flattering, but the dark purple tones add a little bit of edge. I also added the blazer to give it more of that “menswear” style.

It’s the weekend, and I couldn’t be more excited! For the weekend I like to keep it casual and comfy. Today’s look I took this t-shirt dress (which is so basic but eye-catching because of the cut-outs) and added my fave “sneakers” which are perfect for walking around town.
