Loving the Holidays with Urban Outfitters

With the holidays here it’s time to really get into the “holiday mood”. The holidays for me are nostalgic, they give me that adolescent “fuzzy” feeling. My favorite thing to do during this time of year is embracing the cool weather and taking in the special moments of the holidays. I love being downtown in my town this time of year because the bright lights, decorations, and music make my small town seem a little more special.

Downtown

I enjoy taking in the scenery and the lights of downtown during this time, going to my favorite coffee shop for the perfect winter drink, and being able to embrace the sweater weather in cozy knits like this Silence + Noise sweater. The mustard color is a great color for the fall/winter months.

Even though the town I live in is small, once the sun goes down and all the lights come on the atmosphere changes and kind of makes me feel like I’m in a big city  for the holidays for just a moment.

At Home

This time of year I enjoy getting the chance to be “festive” and add little touches of the season to my home as well.

Adding these bulb lights to my room create a warm and calming atmosphere, and makes me feel extra cozy.

Favorite Winter

Not only has this coat and these heels been a staple in my closet since last year, but all of these pieces have been closet favorites. A classic winter look, is one of my favorite looks to wear. I love how I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit next year, because I feel every piece is timeless but still modern.

Today being Christmas, it really makes me realize how incredible this year has been thanks to all of my amazing readers, and the amazing friends & loved ones in my life! I couldn’t do it without you guys.
