Transitonal

I love pieces that can be worn for every season (doesn’t everyone?). This romper isn’t really considered a “classic” piece but it has definitely been a staple in my wardrobe for the past year. The way I made this romper fit for summer is by pairing it with a gladiator sandal/heel (I’ve been OBSESSED with these lately, so comfortable!), and a light top. I added a blazer to kind of “mature” the look and make it more “business casual”.

See how I styled this romper for fall/winter here!

The checkered print has been one of my favorite patterns of the moment. The print adds a nice element of chic-ness to a rather casual look. I paired this Parisian style crop top from JOA with my overalls that I got from Wet Seal, that I practically live in!

Nostalgia

Simplicity at its finest. This chambray dress is essentially just an over-sized and longer chambray top. This dress makes my life 10 times easier when it comes to picking out my outfit. If I want something dressy, but light and simple, I automatically go for this dress. No fuss, and perfect for summer.

Don’t forget to hype this look on Lookbook!

Silver Lining

If I could be one piece of clothing, I would be this dress. This dress has the perfect mixture of chic and elegance with the comfort of a t-shirt! I absolutely love the crisp look of the white faux-leather mixed with the soft grey t-shirt material. And let’s talk about how fabulous these sandal-boot hybrid heels are! These heels/boots add the perfect touch of toughness to this outfit and I think the shoes really pull the whole outfit together.

If you loved this outfit as much as I do, hype it on Lookbook!

Orange and I have not always agreed with each other. I have bad memories from my childhood of my mom always dressing me in this one rust colored top and I just remember hating it. I vowed from then on I would never own, or wear, anything orange. As you can see I broke that vow! This year different variations of orange have been all the rage, and I actually was willing to open my closet back up to the this former nemesis color. I just think this particular bright orange color looks great on a lot of skin tones and just gives off a nice bronzy glow! I paired this crop tank with some light weight jogger type pants and I think it dresses up the tank and makes it look effortlessly chic!

I haven’t worn this adorable overall dress in a while, and I have no idea why. This overall dress is perfect for making the simplest of tops into something classic and cute! This look is really girly, but to stick to my style roots I stayed with the black and white color scheme to keep the look edgy but still chic!
