When I saw this romper on TheRealReal I almost died. I picked this fabulous piece up for $75 which I thought was a great deal for such an amazing item. I love how it’s simple, but the zippers make the romper a little edgier. And a black romper is such a classic piece.

I love how this romper is durable and material is amazing quality and sturdy, but it’s still breathable. It was perfect for walking around in Lafayette in the super humid and hot weather.

It has been extremely dry, hot, and sunny here in Louisiana. So me being so smart decided to layer in denim and a long sleeve button down…not my best choice.

But luckily the denim isn’t super heavy and the button down is light and breathable. I’ve just been loving the all white looks lately and this look was inspired by this picture of the always amazing Alexa Chung.

Take Me Away

This tropical print top from Bishop + Young has me wishing I was on a beach right about now. One can only dream.

I love how the tropical pattern gives a laid-back feel to this rather city style look.

I wanted the tropical printed top to be the star of the outfit, so I kept the rest of the pieces light and fresh.

And let’s talk about this long blazer for a moment. I’ll admit, it can be borderline doctor-ish, but I think it’s totally cool and edgy with the slits in the side, but still polished. I think it’s so cool that I’ve worn it three times and I haven’t even had it a week…
