I’ve said it before many times, having black and white as your everyday color scheme in clothing choices can get a little tricky…and boring. Black and white can be very 1 dimensional, so I like to play up my textures to avoid that 1 dimensional look. It was chilly, so I was able to layer my knit under my jacket, which adds tons of texture and dimension to the look.
I like how the hem of the sweater and the skirt take on the same curve and same length so it kind of looks like a dress! I also wore this mock neck bodysuit just to break up the black and white, so you could see every layer to the outfit.

I’m really digging all the different elements to such a simple color scheme. Not just the different textures but also the platform and mid turtle neck and hemline to the mini. It’s perfection.
